""There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't." - John Green "
I’m Brooke Bohnsack, a pre-licensed clinician on the path to becoming a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
While I’m new to the field, my background as a nanny and residential tech has shaped a person-centered, empathetic approach to working with others. I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate life’s challenges—whether it’s emotional regulation, identity development, or healing from substance use and co-occurring concerns.
In therapy, I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. I believe in meeting clients where they’re at, honoring their unique experiences, and walking alongside them as they build insight and resilience.
Outside of clinical work, you can find me at the cabin, grabbing coffee with friends, or spending time with my miniature long-haired dachshund, Hubert.
