Lauren Brenny

"Healing is not about becoming someone different; it’s about uncovering the strength that has always been within you."

My name is Lauren (She/Her), and I am passionate about finding what works
best for you in your therapeutic journey. I have a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire and an MS in Rehabilitation Counseling from St. Cloud State University. I believe that people who experience mental health struggles and trauma are incredibly strong, and resilient, and deserve to find peace.

I prefer a more compassionate, empathetic, and gentle approach to therapy,
combined with a holistic and intersectional perspective to help you find your voice and be true to yourself. I use a person-centered, eclectic lens, combined with various therapeutic approaches to create an experience that will fit each individual and their needs. I am EMDR trained and enjoy working with a variety of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, PTSD, trauma, neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), 2SLGBTQIA+ issues, gender issues, gender dysphoria, identity exploration, chronic pain, chronic illness, Disability, and career development.

I prefer to work with individuals who are ages 10 and older. I am particularly
passionate about working with individuals who are neurodiverse, have disabilities, or identify within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

I find solace in reading books, music, gardening or tending to houseplants,
baking, spending time with my cat Bruno, crocheting, and being outdoors.
