"“It seems to me that the good life is not any fixed state. […] The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” Rogers, 1961/1995"
"I am a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, hold a master’s degree in counseling, and am a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology, currently practicing in the Twin Cities. I work with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and major life transitions.
I have worked with individuals across a broad range of diagnoses and symptom severity, from those facing situational stress or significant life obstacles to those managing long-standing mental health conditions. In my past work, many of my clients appeared high functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally.
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, professionalism, and a respect for each person’s unique experience. I focus on helping clients build insight while also developing concrete skills they can apply in daily life. Therapy is not only a space to understand patterns, but also a place to actively work toward change.
Therapy with me is collaborative, structured, and growth-oriented. My goal is not just short-term symptom improvement. I focus on long-term emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose."
